Dinner Incredible Lights Up Alta Val Venosta: Twelve Chefs, Twelve Courses, One Alpine Night

Set in the enchanting landscapes of South Tyrol—renowned for its exceptional produce, fine wines and refined hospitality—Dinner Incredible arrives on March 27, 2026 in the alpine village of Burgusio, in the heart of Alta Val Venosta. The prestigious Hotel Weisses Kreuz will host an extraordinary evening: one dinner, twelve chefs, twelve courses, all inspired by the territory.

Created by chef Giorgio Diana, this traveling culinary concept avoids repeating set menus or showcasing “greatest hits.” Each edition is created on site, with every dish shaped through dialogue with local producers, winemakers, seasonal ingredients and the surrounding landscape. The result is a live creative laboratory where haute cuisine becomes a shared language.

After previous editions in Taranto and in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Vietnam and Thailand, Dinner Incredible lands in Alta Val Venosta for the first time, choosing a secluded destination perfectly aligned with its philosophy: PLAY GLOBAL, EAT LOCAL.

Burgusio: a gastronomic capital for one night

For one evening, the spaces of the Mamesa Fine Dining Restaurant—an intimate venue with only six tables and sweeping views of the surrounding peaks—along with the hotel itself, will transform into an international crossroads of contemporary cuisine.

The idea goes beyond the concept of a “special dinner.” Instead, it becomes a collective creative process. Invited chefs will build the menu exclusively with seasonal South Tyrolean ingredients, working side by side and allowing the territory and its agricultural heritage to guide their inspiration.

The result will be a twelve-course tasting journey, each dish created by a different chef and paired with a carefully curated selection of wines that reflects the remarkable enological diversity of the region.

The protagonists: twelve visions, one menu

Leading the brigade will be the restaurant’s resident chef Marc Bernhart, the creative force behind Mamesa, joined by pastry chef Kay Baumgardt, known for his contemporary desserts crafted without white sugar and defined by balance and aromatic precision.

Alongside them, ten internationally acclaimed chefs will contribute their unique culinary perspectives:

  • Jacob Jan Boerma – formerly awarded three Michelin stars, now chef of the one-star restaurant White Room in the Netherlands
  • Domingo Schingaro – one Michelin star, Due Camini at Borgo Egnazia, Italy
  • Salvatore Morello – one Michelin star, Inkiostro, Parma
  • Massimiliano Sena – one Michelin star, La Table de Courcelles, France
  • Claudio Melis – one Michelin star, In Viaggio, Merano
  • Pavlos Kyriakis – former Michelin-starred chef, now owner of Dodeka Piata, Athens
  • Dario Fisichella – one Michelin star, Villa Naj, Torrazza Coste
  • Thomas Diepersloot – one Michelin star, Fine Fleur, Antwerp
  • Tim Golsteijn – one Michelin star, Bougainville, Amsterdam
  • Giorgio Diana – founder of Dinner Incredible and internationally active restaurateur based in Cairo

Together they create a mosaic of experiences, techniques and culinary identities that converge into a single gastronomic narrative for an unforgettable evening.

The setting: alpine heritage meets contemporary design

An adults-only four-star superior property, Hotel Weisses Kreuz is a historic residence that blends centuries of Alpine tradition with modern hospitality. Under the direction of Mara Theiner, Gothic stube, Renaissance rooms and traditional architecture coexist with minimalist lines and natural materials.

A highlight of the property is the Aura Mea Spa, featuring a year-round heated infinity pool overlooking the Abbey of Monte Maria and the Ortles mountain range—an atmosphere that elevates the dining experience into a fully immersive alpine retreat.
