One Word Sunday : Studio

By Massimo Usai

Sunday. One word and one thing to do.

Outside, the weather is far from being spring; in fact, it feels more like the depths of winter, with chilling winds that whip through the bare branches of the trees and leave a biting cold in the air. The ground is still covered in patches of stubborn snow, unwilling to melt away, and the sky above is a dull gray, heavy with thick clouds that seem to threaten more precipitation. Birds are noticeably absent, as if they, too, are waiting for the warmth and vibrant colors of spring to arrive before making their return.

Better work in my studio. I have been meticulously preparing for this exciting phase, as there are some stunning photos to take for the catalogue that will be showcased soon on my website. Each photograph will reflect the essence of my creative vision, highlighting the unique features and intricate details that my work embodies. I can’t wait to share these images with a wider audience, inviting them to explore and appreciate the artistry involved in every piece.

Massimo Usai https://urbanmoodmagazine.com

After more than 25 years spent between London, Warsaw, and Brussels—three cities that taught me everything except how to resist a good coffee—I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with international outlets such as The New York Times, Time Out London, and Vancouver News.
Today, I’m the Director of Urban Mood Magazine and the Editor behind Longevitimes.com, where I explore stories at the intersection of culture, photography, and longevity.
I love blending images and words to turn every piece into a small journey—authentic, original, and occasionally a little mischievous.
In recent years, I’ve been diving deep into the world of Sardinia’s Blue Zone, developing expertise in longevity, traditions, and the science behind living better (and longer).
And yes—I’m also an Arsenal supporter. Nobody’s perfect. / To contact me massimousai@mac.com
