A very special wine event in Nuragus, Sardinia

In the heart of authentic Sardinia, the village of Nuragus will host “Il Nuragus a Nuragus” on May 24, 2026, a one-day event celebrating the island’s historic Nuragus grape variety.

Titled “La dolce vita in a glass,” the event combines wine tasting with cultural, gastronomic, and social experiences.

The entire village becomes an immersive setting, featuring tasting areas, masterclasses, food spaces, and live entertainment. The program also includes contemporary elements such as fashion curated by Alberto Maoddi, swing dance performances, and a wellness experience culminating in a sunset yoga session.

A key highlight is the cultural and archaeological itinerary (10:00–16:00), guiding visitors through significant local sites, including a historic residence, the Nuraghe Santu Millanu, and the Sacred Well of Coni—offering insight into the deep connection between wine and the region’s ancient heritage.

The food and wine program is equally rich, with expert-led masterclasses and curated tastings, alongside options for a communal lunch organized by local associations or more intimate dining experiences in residents’ homes. Among the experts Alessandra Guigoni, Gilberto Arru and the sommelier Fabrizio Di Bonaventura.

The afternoon features live performances, including an immersive concert by Luca Spanu Desogus, a show by internationally acclaimed artist Moses Concas, a polyphonic choir performance, and a swing dance finale.

Free to attend, the event invites guests—optionally—to dress in “La dolce vita” style. It stands as a celebration of local identity, community, and tradition, expressed through wine.
